The Exhaust system consists of Expansion Bellows,
Ducts, Silencers, Transition and Bypass Stack. All
ducts are made of Carbon Steel plates with adequate
stiffeners. Internal insulation is provided by mineral
wool and ceramic blanket covered with Stainless Steel
cladding sheets. The whole system rests on support
structures. The silencer is designed to a noise level
of 85 dB (A) at 1m distance or to the customers special
requirements.
Indira Industries has introduced
the Exhaust System for the first time in India with
Technical Know-how from its European principal M/s.G+H
SCHALLSCHUTZ, Germany for the Project 2xFr.5 BPCL,
Mumbai in 1988. So far Indira Industries has executed
around 80 sets of Exhaust Systems for GE Fr.1 to GE Fr.9FA,
SIEMENS V94.2 Machines.
Indira Industries has supplied Exhaust system for
GE FR.1 to GE FR. 9E through M/s. Bharat Heavy Electricals
Limited for various projects in India and Abroad.
This company successfully completed the Revamping
and Modification of Exhaust System for GE Fr.5 Gas
Turbine on turnkey basis at M/s.Oil and Natural Gas
Corporation Limited, Uran in India. The project was
successfully completed within a record period of 8
months and the Erection & Commissioning was completed
within 39 days instead of 45 days.
